Registration for Those who want to Transfer to VMHA
PRIOR TO REGISTERING PLEASE READ ALL 4 BELOW, as well as the registration and refund polices:
1. You will be required to enter each player’s individual HCR (Hockey Canada Registry) ID Number. You can find it by logging into your Hockey Canada 3.0 account. If you do not have an HCR number, you’ll need to complete a Respect in Sport Parent Program, online, which will provide your child with a Hockey Canada number . You will need this number when you register with us.
IMPORTANT - After completion of the Respect in Sport Parent Program course, please go back to the Child Management Page and retrieve the Hockey Canada ID, you will need that to register. Please ensure you select Victoria Minor Hockey Association on the child management page- HCR Creation or your registration wont work
If you have played organized hockey you already have an HCR number. The HCR # is usually 13 digits, beginning with either 1400xxx or 1500xxx and 2021xxx (there are a few exceptions). If you can’t find it on Hockey Canada, please email our registrar at registrar@victoriaminorhockey.ca.
If you have not created an account in the New Hockey Canada 3.0 Platform, please do so following these instructions. Once you have created your account, search for your Hockey Canada Profile and Link it to your new Hockey Canada 3.0 account. Do the same for each of your players. Once that is finalized, you will be able to view your individual HCR numbers. If you have played organized hockey you have already been assigned a number, you will not need to create a new number/profile after creating your new Hockey Canada 3.0 account. You will only need to LINK yourself and your players to your new account. You will find the User Guide Here.
Once the account has been created and linked on Hockey Canada 3.0, you can proceed to register for VMHA using the button provided on this page below.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT REGISTER TO PLAY THROUGH THE HOCKEY CANADA REGISTRY. YOU WILL NEED TO RETURN TO THE VMHA WEBSITE AND USE THE LINKS ON OUR REGISTRATION PAGE.
2. NOTE: DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR REP (COMPETITIVE) TRYOUTS: August 1
All players-in-good-standing registered in U13, U15 or U18 are welcome to participate in the tryout process, for an additional non-refundable fee. If your home association has not found space for you by mid-August, please contact our registrar. You can register with us at that time and we can very likely place you.
