Admirals U21 – C3 Win over VMHA U21 -C2

In a Saturday night showdown between Division rivals C-2 the C3 Admirals put their undefeated legal game record to the test against the second of the three VMHA teams. The two teams traded goals in the first – Harris adding to Dragicevich’s first tally to have the C3 team start the second with a 2-1 lead. C2 tied things up early in the second until Thomas and Harris put the C3s up over the C2 team 4-2 – the third period saw no additional scoring and the C3s added another well-deserved win to their record.

Admirals U21 – C3 Takes Bronze at Fuller Lake
November 8/9, 2025

Nanaimo Clippers

The Addies got off to a bit of a mixed start in game one of what was to be a four-game tournament hosted by the Cowichan Valley Minor Hockey Association, November 8/9, 2025 at the Fuller Lake Arena.
Despite early scoring from Dominic Harris and a late first period goal from Eric Chambers, the Admirals fell behind in the second period after Nanaimo goals at 7:35 and 4:07. Despite a valiant third period push, the Clipper handed the Admiral a 3-2 loss in a spirited, penalty filled affair.

Burnaby Bulldogs

Burnaby made it very clear in the opening minutes of game two for the Admirals that the lower mainland team had come to play – their speed and quick passing had the Addys on their heels for the first few shifts – however, the VMHA team quickly gathered its composure and raised its compete level to match the Burnaby squad. The Addys were down by one at the close of the second period and scored three unanswered goals (Lam. Bevan Thomson) to go up 3-1 before the Bulldogs scored mid-way through the period to close the gap to 3-2. The third period saw the Admirals take three penalties and the opened the door for Burnaby to go ahead 4-3 until Lucas Thomas and his linemates managed to pot one last goal for the 4-4 tie.

Peninsula Eagles U21 C2

With a 0-1-1 record going into Sunday, the Admirals needed a win and some key losses on the part of other teams in their pool to finish top two and move on to the semi-final game. The first frame saw the VHMA squad off to a roaring start with four goals (Lindholm, Lam, Spenselayh, Patel) to the Eagles’ two. The Eagles outscored the Admirals 3-2 in the second period make the third period a must win scenario for the VHMA team. Thanks to a late goal by Thomson – the Admirals pulled out the 6-5 win in a high scoring match. Unfortunately, the Addies finished third in their pool with a 1-1-1 record sending them to the 3 Vs 3 game against the third-place finisher in the opposing pool.

Peninsula Eagles C1 Bronze Medal Match

In an interesting twist of fate – the Admirals faced off against regular season rivals Peninsula Eagles C1 in the 3 Vs 3 pool cross-over game for the Bronze Medal at the CVMHA U21 Recreational Tournament.
Smith and Harris potted goals early and then late in the first frame as the Admirals jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period. Harris posted his second goal of the game – and the only scoring to happen in the middle frame. Dragicevich scored the Addies forth and final goal early in the final period – the Eagles made a valiant push in the third to claw back to within two of the Admirals – who hung on for the 4-2 win and the Bronze Medal.

Admirals U21 – C3 vs. Admirals U21 – C1
November 1, 2025

Game two of the young 2025/2026 season for the U 21 C3 team was against U21 C1 – one of two sister VMHA teams in the South Island Division. The C3 team fell behind early in the first period until a late goal by Chamber brought the C3 team within one of the C1 squad. C3 dominated the second period with goals from Lam, Chambers, Bevan and Thompson to finish out the period with a 5-2 lead. Patel, Bevan and Chambers scored in the third before C1 came back with three goals in succession to close the gap and a final score of 8-5 for C3.

Admirals U21 – C3 vs. Peninsula Eagles C 1
October 26, 2025

The 2025/2026 Admirals kicked off the new season against the U 21 Peninsula Eagles C1 teams at the Panorama Recreation Centre. The Eagles led the first period with two goals to the Admirals one – however the VMHA team dominated the second period with five unanswered goals (Harris(2), Chambers, Bevan, Paton) to head into the third with a solid 6-2 lead. The third period when entirely the Admirals way with four more goals (Lindholm(2), Patel and Chambers) to take the C3 team on to the 10-2 win – a great start to the season!
