U18 Top/Bottom Practice Rosters Posted for Wed Aug 27

Good evening,

Assessments for the U18 T1 and T2 teams continue tomorrow with practices focused on high pace, high touch drills and small area games. The coaches have now separated the players into Top and Bottom rosters, which have been posted to the website.

• The Bottom group will practice from 4PM to 5PM tomorrow on Pearkes Green; and,
• The Top Group will practice from 5:15PM to 6:15PM.

The coaches would like to emphasize that there can still be player movement between the groups depending on performance, and players from the first group may be asked to stay for the second.

Goalies: Goaltenders are not yet assigned to the top and bottom rosters. Tomorrow, one goalie pairing will attend the Bottom group, and the other pairing will attend the Top group. These assignments will be switched the following day. Tomorrow, Nate Young-Thompson and Oliver Zolis will attend the 4PM practice, and Fattore Lambourne and Samuel Monkman will attend the 5:15PM practice.

At this point, the coaches intend to keep the players being assessed through the first inter-association exhibition games, which will take place the weekend of September 13th and 14th.

 

Please celebrate your players for their hard work so far, and encourage them to continue competing over the remaining assessment period!
