Powell River Spring Recreational All-Stars Tryout Registration (U11, U13, U15)
Attention all recreational players in U11, U13 and U15.
Powell River minor hockey traditionally hosts a spring ‘rec all stars’ tournament at the end of the season. We have been accepted at U13, U15 and U18, and have an application in for U11 (acceptance not yet confirmed).
VMHA will hold tryouts to create tournament teams to attend this tournament – dates/times to be announced later.
Powell River All-Stars Tournament Timing:
- U11: April 3-5, 2026 (still gauging level of interest for U11)
- U13: March 27-29
- U15: April 3-5
- U18: March 27-29 (registration will be done separately)
Please note that the status of the U11 application is still up in the air…as this division is a bit smaller we are gauging interest to see if we can form a team. There is always a chance that our application will not be accepted.
The U18 team is typically rostered exclusively by 3rd year players – separate messaging will be sent out for this group.
To register for tryouts please fill out the following form as soon as possible (we have a cut off date of Jan 31 but if you reply earlier it significantly helps the planning process).
Reminder: This is for recreational players ONLY – players on U11 A/B, as well as our carded representative teams, are not eligible for consideration.
Cost: Estimated to be between $125 – $200 per player to cover tournament fees–this does not include travel/accommodation costs).
