Coaching Opportunity: High-Performance Coaches for U13 Tier 1 and U15 Tier 1

Coaching Opportunity:
U13 Tier 1 & U15 Tier 1 Minor Hockey Teams

Are you an experienced coach? Or someone ready to take the next step into competitive coaching? Victoria Minor Hockey Association is currently accepting expressions of interest for non-parent head coaches for our U13 Tier 1 and U15 Tier 1 travel teams for the upcoming season.

These are modestly paid roles with excellent support and development opportunities—ideal for coaches who want to make a real impact.

We’re building a strong foundation for our top-tier teams and looking for motivated, positive leaders to help shape the next generation of athletes both on and off the ice.

What we’re looking for:

•   Coaching experience (preferred, but training can be provided)
•   U13: Checking certified plus Hockey Canada Development 1 certified
•   U15: Checking certified plus Hockey Canada High Performance 1 certified
•   All coaches regardless of their level of coaching, must also complete Respect in Sport – Activity

  Leader, Concussion Awareness Training Tool (CATT) and a Criminal Record Check

•   Strong communication and leadership skills
•   A passion for youth development in a competitive environment
•   Non-parent coaches (preferred for these positions)
