December 2nd, 2022 – “North Island Eagles host Admirals in Weekend Friendly.
The Tri-Port community was a very gracious host, welcoming the T2 Victoria Admirals and their families for a pair of games over the Remembrance Day weekend.
Players and parents were treated to a pair of competitive games, a well-organized skills competition between the two teams, and a communal BBQ dinner that was second to none for their Victoria guests at the Chilton Arena in Port McNeill.
On behalf of the players and their families we would like to extend our appreciation and thanks for a very enjoyable and fun weekend in this beautiful north Island community.”

VMHA U18-T2 Admirals Take Gold at the OMAHA U18 Tier 2 Tournament (October 7-9, 2021)
The VMHA U18 T2 Admirals battled hard to go undefeated in round robin play against Quesnel (5-4), Salmon Arm (3-2), and Kelowna (2-0), to make it to the semi-final matchup against Kamloops.
Kamloops and the Admirals played a tight game until the Admirals broke things open in the third period to win 7-0 and advance to the finals against the undefeated Trail team from Pool A.
Trail and the Admirals went toe-to-toe deep into the game – with VMHA riding a one goal lead into the final four minutes. The Admirals valiantly responded to the hard-charging, physical Trail team with strong defensive play, aggressive forechecking and amazing goal-tending – ultimately the Admirals were able to break through Trail’s defence to score an empty-net goal in the dying minutes to win 2-0 and take Gold!
The Admirals would like to express their appreciation to the Salmon Arm Minor Hockey Hockey Association for putting on such a fantastic and well-run tournament!!
Go Admirals!
