Midget T1 SMHA/VMHA CO-OP Team Wins Gold at Greater Victoria Midget Classic

The Midget Tier1 team went undefeated in the round robin portion of the tournament.
The Gold Medal game was a hard fought battle against the Burnaby Winter Club. The third period ended in at 0-0 tie which put the game into overtime. SMHA/VMHA scored to take the Gold 1-0. This is the first time in over a decade that a local team has won the championship.
